Try pointing reshade to the launcher.exe (TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe) instead.
so TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe ?
Haven't do it myself but that works for the other poster.
hmm, now it's not running with game at all whether I run Bannerlord.exe or TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe.
Maybe i'm missing something
Edit: Just tried this myself, and Reshade works as long as I set it up for TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe and then launch from steam.
Yep, tried launching it through Steam and through directory and still not showing. At least before when I applied it to Bannerlord.exe it would run, just no mods.
ReShade is a bit weird when setting it up though as sometimes you have to rename the dxgi.dll file to d3d11.dll. Maybe there's something else I need to rename to for it to start working.
Try re-runing reshades setup and directing it towards "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe" or wherever your Bannerlord installation is.
Did exactly everything you said through the directory you typed and still no ReShade notification when starting the game up. Even tried running all exe's with admin privelidges and still nothing. Thanks for trying to help though.
Try this:
Delete the win64-shippingclient folder, all of it.
Revalidate your steam files.
Then try running reshade setup again, don't use vulkan for it.
You might be running into an issue with Reshade's old settings, and this should flush it.
After all that download and verifying, still run into the same issue. Good idea though.
I still think it's probably something to do with renaming one of the files similar to renaming dxgi.dll file to d3d11.dll.
Come to think of it, do you know of a way to enable mods without using launcher? Since the only way I can run ReShade is through the Bannerlord.exe maybe I can find another way to activate the mods.
All I want to do is take pretty pictures
I DO think there is a "fixed launcher" to help with some mod order issues, that might be a good tree to bark up.
I had mine installed on DirectX, I uninstalled it because Vulkan is supposedly the engine they run and I wanted to change it and it wouldn't work. Changed it back to Direct X and it loaded up first try.
