What happens if your clan influence becomes greater than the ruler's clan
I was just wondering, does anyone know what happens if for example we are a vassal of a faction and manage to get our clan influence higher than the ruler's clan? Do we become king and overthrow the current ruler? Has anyone done this before?

So for example, you are a vassal of Unqid of the Aserai, and you manage to get your clan influence higher than Unqid's clan.

nothing happens. and the ruler clan is gaining way more influence than everyon e else per day, so it's a brief window.

In the current game I'm playing I'm a Battanian lord and I took 1 Aserai settlement and voted for myself, and they ended up giving it to me. I then tracked down the last 2 remaining Aserai lords (Yes I'm on an execute rampage) and executed them both.

When I did this, the entire rest of the Aserai empire got instantly transferred over to me. Not my ruler, not split between the Battanian nobles, but everything, to me.
I'm assuming it's because I held 1 Aserai city when their last noble was executed.

Anyway, long story short I was gaining bonkers amounts of influence per day, and surpassed Caladog with ease.

And no, absolutely nothing happens.

There were times when Caladog was at about 800 influence and I had 13,000
And it changed nothing other than how often I could vote for stuff with 300 influence.

Influence pretty much is good only for voting on policy and making armies.

Well, may I ask what would you like the game to offer you at this point and beyond?
'Nothing' is not exactly what I'd like to experience in your shoes in the future..
The question I have is why do you not spend your influence? :o

Late game is same slog as it was in Warband.

Current campaign I can field 400+ elite troops myself (220 + 2 * 100 clan parties) and summon whole kingdom with unused infuence, nothing can stop me, but what fun is it?

Money not an issue too, I have 400 000 + coins, I'm not even take fliefs anymore, one city and two castles is two castles more then I need.

Main character level 21, progression is almost stooped at this point. I can see skill points for 2. maybe 3 more levels at most.

So now I have to siege and take 10 towns and whole bunch of castles to rebuild empire, but I wont do it, because it's boring. Just like conquering whole continent in Warband was.

I see. So, what would you like to experience from there on, if I may enquire?

I, too, am curious. Back to Total War or Stellaris?

I don't know, really. Maybe some potential can be found in diplomacy or power struggle within the kingdom. Or civil unrest events. Something else, not just countless sieges.
