Is there a way to modify the game files so you start with nothing

Just thought that maybe it would be fun and more challenging to start with nothing, no gold, no armor, no weapons, nothing, is this possible?

You could always just buy worthless items with your money then discard your entire inventory as soon as you start the game

But I saw people talking about giving themselves stuff, they didn't say how but I figured it would be possible to just remove stuff if you can add stuff you know?

I don't see how that makes a huge difference. all it takes is just doing one or two tournaments depending on how much the item you are awarded is worth and you can already buy some starting gear again.
