as for quartermaster it is steward
and i think it had some perks in enginering? not quite sure i know the big part about it is steward and thus your party size
I made this mistake by naming my wife quarter master with her 125 steward skill to find late game I could only carry less than 100 people.
Almost correct, you also need to assign yourself to quartermaster or you wont level the steward skill (at lest that the case last time I checked).
e: as the guy above says
idk if a greater variety increases it more
IIRC, the value is listed in the Steward skill description? Something like maintaining a 70 Morale or some such?
The only time I get Skillups there is when that Morale actually goes down a point from 70 that I can remember. IOW - They eat the last of a food item and the movement in Morale triggers a skill increase. At least, that's when I've noticed it occurring.
