For horseback slashing = Romphalia
I dont really care for the footmen but you can go for Menavlion, its pretty fast.
+1
I saw the upgrade version to it as well, Fine Steel Menavlion, adds another 50 slash (I believe) while making it slower as well.
I'm definitely a thruster, not a slasher. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the Vlandian Heavy Lance and compare the stats if and when I find one.
You're talking about the ''Imperial Heavy Lance''. Its length is 234 if I'm not wrong.
I recommend never using couched lance attacks, get used to stabbing people. Its easier, faster, much more practical. I never use shields on a horseback and by using lances with two hands it increases the damage and speed.
Interesting, I actually prefer to have the shield to help block stray arrows. If I'm going fast enough I can one hit almost anyone.
Oh, I started using mine while on horse. Made killing horse archers and lancers a breeze lol. Am I doing it wrong?
You may go for the Imperial lances they're also quite good for length, but if you engage infantry more than horsemen you'll need more than length. So for me Vlandian lances are better than the Imperial lances.
And if you were to find Romphalia, plz get yourself a camel.
Using a Romphalia on a Camel back is the funniest thing so far in the game for me.
No tactic that suits you well can be wrong, but anything under 150 lenght should be used on foot.
Its so hard to chase enemy horsemen with menavlion. Maybe its not for me.
I tend to engage both horsemen and infantry depending on the situation. I LOVE charging at cavalry head on with a javelin ready to go and it's so rewarding to get that hit because it is an insta-kill.
How does this crafted lance of mine compare? I intentionally lowered the length because it felt a bit unwieldy/
