My Weapons Are Sold All Over Calradia!
I keep smithing and smelting weapons over and over to gain exp and discover new parts. I name the weapons I craft. Over time, I started seeing my weapons in multiple cities of different factions even though I smelted them and never sold them.

What sorcery is this? ಠ_ಠ

Cool beans
beta?
A sorcery called "one of the small, but fun charms" in the game.

You craft a new type of blade, and soon, the smiths of Calaradia will want to copy it.
I wouldn't take it as an insult, I'm sure the Sturgians just needed the money

Makes sense. The middle ages had no copyrights. xD
Yeah, me too. Made this special sword for my wife in memory of her mother that i execute. Not long after that, theres bootleg being sold everywhere. Alright, so what the heck is this medieval shenzen?

Well, in the Medieval sense, the sword probably became a folk lore -- a sword that cut off the head of a mother-in-law of a famous lord... so those folk lore give the local smiths an idea to make a "recreated" copy of that folk lore sword and sell it to people who want it.

Shi* like this actually happened quite frequently in the Medieval times.
i noticed this happening in my games as well, but i also noticed that their stats were like 1 point lower then mine was (damage wise any ways) mine was like 86 and the one in the store was 85....
IIRC, there's actually one of the swords purportedly used by Charles Magne himself, in the museums... which actually turned out to be a sword crafted at a latter time, but just having copied the name of that sword.

Or something like that.. I'll have to dig up my sources..
Do what Todd did, sue them only if thier weapons will be better then your bug-infested weapons.
Even tho they are not professional blacksmiths.
Hah. Found it.

It's not Charles Magne, but El Cid's sword "Tizona."

Just AI pirating good design.
Noticed this too, but i did not bother to name mine, so now I see a lot of "Crafted throwing daggers" and Crafted twoo-handed Axe" around.
You can also have them as tournament prize.

Now i regret not naming all the garbage sword i crafted early, cuz there's plenty of "crafted one handed swords" & stuff lol. (all of them are pretty crappy cuz i had to smith for a looong time till i got a stronger blade than a t2 one)
