They have an ingame options menu that you can adjust to give infinite stamina or set the amount.
Not sure if thats the one you used, I dont use the parameter in the mod

hmm i just tried that mod but it crashes my game on startup, i think because it hasnt been updated for the new beta patch yet
It does need some tweaks though.
BTW you can use your followers to smith as well, so I have 5 followers, thats an extra 500 stamina for smithing. Its even better when you get them the perks for smelting. Have them do the smelting work while you make the goods...
I am using it now.
You must not be using the 'Fixed Launcher' Mod or have not installed it correctly.
Default Launcher can mess up your load order causing a crash if any mods are put before the vanilla modules.
I would recommend using Fixed Launcher Mod for any and all mods.
Maybe have stamina scale up as smithing increases as well.
People who want to train smithing just wait a lot in the city which makes smithing just stupid.
I dont use cheats very often, but I ended up cheating stamina so that it does not decrease and I could train smith how I want to. Imo this is not cheating but disabling a stupid mechanic which makes no sense at all.
Thats how I interpretted it.
Also if you level up smithing alot it will give you attribute and skill points to level up other things easier. There will be a knock on effect.
Think of it this way, why would you need more stamina? Why not just use the smithy everytime you go to a new city for the amount of time you can and then move on?
Take your time and enjoy the journey.
