that might probably help.
Might take a look at that later, that mod already killed one of my save games. It probably won't happen again, but I'm reluctant to try it, because as it stands, the game runs fine. It's just the one skill that got boosted so crazy.
I think its down to using 2 mods with the Beta version of the game.
BannerlordTweaks & TyniBannerlordFixes
Tyni advised to lower the xp gain in the mod options if using both mods as they both increase the xp gain but it multiples when you use both mods together.
Then with the new Beta version there is some strange large xp gains a few people have noticed.
multiply these 3 together and you have a skill of 1000+ :(
i think it is more the effect of that in the beta patch they lowered the ammount of xp required to level up the skills than strange large xp gains. :) especially if that mods mulitply the ammount of xp you get.
ah, thats unfortunate, it did not kill any of my save games so far, unfortunately i dont know another way.
hopefully someone else can help you.
Of those, i only use bannerlord tweaks. And it, at least for now, only affected one skill on my main character.
I might try the console again. Gonna back up the save before i try it, just to be safe.
Do you, by any chance, know the command for this? I reinstalled the mod but cannot for the life of me find the correct command to change a skill.
campaign.set_skill_main_hero skillname number
for the skillname you also can type campaign.set_skill_main_hero help
that will give you a list, but i already can say you that onehanded has to be typed without a space and that the name for smithing is crafting.
the effect to the player level does come when you gain your next skill level up in any skill, it does not matter which one.
Awesome, worked like a charm. Thanks!
Is it just me, but when I did this I lost all desire to play this game.
I just thought what's the point all of a sudden? This could be a personal bug.
You don't type that literally, but instead you fill offcourse the name of the skillname and the amount of experience you need to level up that skill instead of the number.
why not?
it's the first result that showed up for me too. and i am 6 months later.
hi, i also tried it but did'nt work.
it seems they removed that command? or i need to look harder it seems.
With the 1.2 update, some of the console commands don't work - as to why, no idea.
Your best bet is to use a mod like Character Reload. It lets you fully customize (and easily cheat) all of your skills, attributes, and traits to be what you want them to be.
