Download the dev console there

Go to Users\xxxxxx\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs\engine_config.txt Set cheat_mode = 0 to cheat_mode = 1 Save it Enable dev console mod in MB launcher Go in game, if you're on 1.1.0 press ctrl+alt+~ (qwerty keyboard) In the command box, type : campaign.change_main_hero_age 30 Or whatever age you want between 19 and 34, press enter Save, revert cheat_mode = 1 to cheat_mode = 0 because it bloats save files.

I don't know if it's too late for you, maybe your marriage is already glitched but hopefully you can still salvage it with this.
Otherwise i suggest changing your age when you start a new playthrough so you don't have to rush, i always set mine to 26 now.

Go in the encyclopedia. I married Mina in my last playthrough... You need to meet her... Then with a check tied to Charm you need to persuade her to marry you... After that talk to her father and pay them a certain amount of money or items... It's that simple.

In the old days we just went out to bars until we found someone that would have us.

Both of you need to be under 35. Which is a weird limitation forcing you to rush it.
I can understand some kind of age limit, but not when they make you start at 30.

It's probably going to change tbh, just like the main quest 10 years which makes no sense for a game like this.

Using the dev console you can change both your age as well as NPCs.

Yea there's only 4 months in a year so it goes pretty fast.

I read the devs intend you to "complete it" over several decades, but currently there's a 10 years limit for the main quest for some reason.
You can remove it using this https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/370

In TW you have also generations, and when your main char dies, it goes to his heir who's then is the playable char.
Assumed it would be here the same, but the limitations who arent clear at all, its only that i read about them in posts, but nothing i game hints towards it, i find a really bad design.

in TW you have limitations too, but these are obvious, like your age, relations etc, and like its stated in quests, (Take city in 10years).

It only my last playthrough i knew about he "age" limit, and focussed more on charm so i could get married within the needed time..
I dont mind time limits on things, but be clear about it.. that what annoys me in the game the most

Lol and here am I wondering how to stop spouse from making more childs, I mean 10 kids isnt already enough? lol

What the hell.. you need cheat mode to marry in this game? How moronic are these devs? In real life you don't need any cheat mode.. you can marry anyone at any age. In Warband I was waiting a TON before starting to chase ladies.. Age is irrelevant. Gameplay is everything. If you need to murder men for 100 years, you should be able to do that ffs. And if you wanna marry at the age of 133+ or whatever.. you should also be able to do that. It's a game.

The post you linked as "author identified as the answer" is no where near the answer. This thread needs a new author, or to be locked.

I can only imagine in 3 months when some new noob comes in and can't figure out how to get married, and think cheat codes is how to do it.

I've never used a cheat code to marry a wife in almost 1000 hours of play. and didn't even use it when it was glitched... Though I did use it to kill my brother (when he was the glitch).
