Do my children actually grow into teens?
Or has that not been implemented yet
Thanks in advance!

I tried it again and I get 2 kids that are 20 years old but look 5 (not babies). They function as adults though.

Firstly type ''help'' in console to see proper commands because i'm gonna explain how to do it and i may mistype the commands.

You have to follow an order

Lets say you have a new born baby named Jeremus.

First you have to age him to 5
campaign.set_hero_age 5 Jeremus

Now you have to turn him into a child
campaign.grow_player_bebies_to_child [no name needed here] <- keep in mind such commands apply to all ''babies'' you have.

Now age him to 15, you need to go step by step
campaign.set_hero_age 15 Jeremus

Then turn him into a teenager
campaign.grop_player_kids(or child not sure here, check it)_to_teens

Lastly age him to 20
campaign.set_hero_age 20 Jeremus

And again turn him into adult
campaign.grow_player_teens_to_adults

Your offspring will always appear in Chaikand with only one exception if you have a castle or town and made your wife governer of it; game sets your + your wife's + your kids home as that fief. So they appear there.

Also by typing ''campaign.grow'' you can see all the correct commands below, check them before typing and surely save before even doing this.

Allegedly it takes 18 in-game years so... yea.

There is a mod that lowers it to 3, but last I checked it was a bit buggy--but maybe it's updated now!

Can i speed it up with commands for like making them 17 and then waiting a year?

Sadly, I don't know anything about commands--but I imagine there's probably some way to fudge it?

ok ty
Even if there was a way, I wouldn't recommend speeding it up unless you want to see many more AI nobles suddenly appear, as they too might grow up along with yours. The NPCs get kids too.

Yes you can if you have ''Developers Mode''.
But firstly for a new born, change his age to 5 then via command make him a child. Then change his age to 15 and via command make him teenager. Lastly change his age to 20 and via command make him adult.

If you dont do it that way, youll en up having a 20 years old baby. ''Literally'' a baby joins your party with the age of 20. So you need to get used to those commands adn work a way around it.
I recommend creating a save file with the mod and without the mod before trying it.

Gotta admit it was the goofiest thing when screwed up the process first time. Riding into battle with a two handed-axe wielding baby on a n imperial horse....:steammocking:

...... I would gladly lead a baby army if the hit boxes are as tiny as they are.

God I can't wait until rebellions are in and Kingdom management is complete and our starting characters are old and gray or long dead but our sons and daughters are starting wars and kingdoms of their own.

What is the console command for this? I tried:
"campaign.set_hero_age 5"
But it doesnt recognize my kids as heroes.
I also tried "campaign.grow_player_babies_to_child" but it didnt seem to do anything. Meaning you are correct in that you have to age them before changing their age group status.

I think you have to specify what hero your trying to change the age of.

Yes I added the name and figured out the issue. I had name and age reversed. I just did it but now I have little tiny adult people and not full grown adults. Despite doing the full process. Will try again now.
