Hide and Fur
I was just choosing what to produce in a new workshop so i looked at what my villages were producing. the one that wasn't already being utilised by other workshops was the fur, but none of the workshops seem to use fur as far as i can see, is fur used for anything?

While i was doing this i noticed the tannery uses hide, i had a look for villages that produce hide as a primary resource and saw none. i tried slaughtering a pig sheep and horse as the tootip says this should produce hide but i didnt get any. Is there any way of actually producing hide currently? I'm thinking maybe its just a case of selling animals to the town and it will make them but i thought i would ask.

Currently, you cannot directly produce hide. Once cows/sheep/hogs are sold to a settlement, the built in 'artisans' workshop (hidden) will transform them into hides and meat.

I'm making the assumption that 'conversion_speed' is a multiplier for the number of days needed to create the required output units (e.g. conversion_speed/1 == number days) -- this may be incorrect:

1 Cow -> 2 days (speed 0.5) -> 6 meat, 3 hides
1 Sheep -> 1 day (speed 1) -> 2 meat, 2 hides
1 Hog -> 1 day (speed 1) -> 1 meat, 1 hide

This information is contained within <[Bannerlord install dir]\Modules\Sandbox\ModuleData\spworkshops.xml>.

So a city with a lot of animal producing villages is the way to go for a hide workshop, horses do nothing for it.

Many thanks for the thorough answer I'll have a look at that folder when I'm back at my pc as I was interested in seeing some of the workshop numbers.
