Enable death after game start
Hey guys, is there any way to enable hero death (besides executions of course) after I've started the game? I'd like to enable it to add more to my current campaign.

Also, with this turned on can my character die? If so, in what scenarios ?

Should be able to enable it in the campaign settings if you hit "Esc". I'm pretty sure the feature works.

Death doesnt work, i've enabled it and the character just goes wounded instead of actually dying

Death does work, I'm just not sure how. I know for sure because I was running around, looking at all the powerful lords daughters one of them had a daughter. Later on in my game I'm looking to recruit this guy, because he has warrior sons and this good daughter. She was dead by 26 somehow.

Now I know some family tree's already have dead people, but this chick was alive.

Thats not what the death feature does, it enables hero deaths, which doesnt work

Sorry guys, I lied anyway had to double check and make a fresh game. Was thrown off because shes dead at 26.

Was actually Oleks sisters, and juicy stuff. Say ragnavald was the cause of it. Dun DUn DUn. No wonder olek leaves Sturgia every game.

This was one of the exciting "new" features Bannerlord is/was going to have - Dynasties. The idea being you could continue the game by assuming the role of a family member (child) or something like that, IIRC. (ie: Crusader Kings)

Isn't that what that feature represents? Or, is it a "permadeath" option?

Well i just checked and it seems like there is no rogue like system, it enables hero death on the battlefield excluding the main character, but still the feature doesnt work at all, they just go wounded instead of dying. I would have loved a rogue like system instead of being bound to this one guy

It’s probably heavily unfinished and won’t receive love until they manage to balance the kingdoms more. No point in dynasties when kingdoms are able to conquer the map inside 10 to 20 years.

Features such as advanced diplomacy and rebellions should help keep the snowballing to a minimum when they eventually release.

In my game the southern empire pretty much conquers everything and killing eveything in their way without losing much

That feature is just horribly out of touch with how long kingdoms last and how long it takes for a baby to become an adult.
