Story version: Okay, not sure what you mean but for me, basically I was attacking some looters right? Well, I won the Battle and when I was ABOUT to Send all Prisoners and Food/Loot to my Inventory, that's when the GAME FROZE, it crashed on me, I restarted the game and voila, wouldn't you know it, I was stuck looking at my Character (on the world map) going at it with the 2 groups of Looters I had defeated, evidence of this? WELL they both had a big fat "0" yes, ZERO over their characters and somehow they were still going at it with my character. All the while that this was happening, time was actually going by and I could even fast forward my game and see the game world go by, WHAT I HAD TO DO WAS ENABLE CHEAT MODE, THEN FROM THERE PLACED MY CHARACTER SOMEWHERE ELSE ON THE MAP but that wasn't all, not exactly anyway because my character was still stuck in that whole "fighting" animation on the world map like I said and I couldn't tell him to go anywhere, not inside a fief, not to start ♥♥♥♥ with another enemy, NOTHING, ZILCH, I was then looking for Console Commands (on google) to maybe Force the current battle to stop, didn't find anything on that (pretty sure it exists, I was just too much in a rush to look and dig deeper into every command) so I almost gave in and thought "Guess I'm screwed... Gonna have to go back to my Manual save (Day 32, mind you this only one auto save I have is already at Day 135) SOOOOO WHAT ENDED UP HAPPENING MIGHT YOU BE ASKING.... I just let the game world play out for a few minutes, just to see if anything would happen that could break this frozen-ness.... Wouldn't you know it, something did... Another group of looters came around (3 Groups) and they WERE ACTUALLY ABLE TO INITIATE a FIGHT with me, I simply rejected their fight (because I KNOW I'd lose all my Troops I still had on me even though Morale and food was at 0 lol) and I gave them like 150 Denars to sod off (thank goodness I had enough) and they did, I'VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY IN A M&B GAME TO SEE LOOTERS even though they kind of caused this headache... Happy Mounting.. and Blading I guess.
Short and more technical version: Game Froze on one of those "Victory!" screens and now you see your character battling your enemie(s) even though it says 0 Troops remaining? WELL JUST ENABLE CHEAT MODE by going to
C:\Users\username\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs
then look for file "engine_config" and open it and look for "cheat_mode = 0" and change the 0 to a 1.... Now load up Bannerlord, when you're looking at your character battling it out on the world map, use CTRL + LMB to teleport your character anywhere on the Map, let time go by (Your Morale and/or food might go low, you may lose companions and/or troops, I'm not sure, I didn't get that far, but at least you'll be able to have your most up to date stats back right?!) AND JUST HOPE SOME HUGE AMOUNT OF RIVAL KINGDOM TROOPS OR LOOTERS OR SOMETHING WILL COME BY AND INITIATE THE ATTACK ON YOU SO YOU CAN GET UNFROZEN..... That's basically it.
If your army is so huge no-one wants to ♥♥♥♥ with it, then I guess it's time you start looking for some console commands, download the Dev console commands mod from the Game's launch menu and do that. I'm sure there's some kind of "End_Current_Battle" command or something. There has to be.
My game crashed on mod compatibility and I was forced to load my autosave.
Now I'm standing in battle with 0 bandits and can't find solution.
No console commands force battle to end (as I can see).
or via dev console command, may work in battle? campaign.go_to_settlement (name)
or campaign.teleport_hero_to_settlement ( )
