Voice acting - more ?
Will there be more Voice Acting ?

Would be nice if most written text was actually spoken!

In the Main Quest there is an NPC who speaks a couple sentences. But that's about it so far i think.

This is expensive and TW does not have budget for this I don't think. Animation and voice acting are considered expensive in game development, aside from obviously the programmers. I'm sure TW made a lot of sacrifices to get certain priorities right.

From the early access info on the store page:

"Voice overs: Since the game uses a lot of dynamic text and hundreds of NPCs, we are planning to record voice-overs for only a limited subset of the dialog (greetings, companion introductions and main quest). Some of these planned voice overs may be missing or using placeholder versions during EA."

Ya see stuff like
<NPCCharacter id="lord_1_1" name="{=CLqPbdiZ}Lucon" age="62" voice="curt" in the game files so they certainly seem to want to have some in, whether or not it will get there.

There will be more voice acting, there's just no point in adding it now when a lot of the dialogue is likely to change.

I could care less about voice acting all it does is drive up the price of the game....
However the price of the game is already pretty high so- Damnit dev's we want everything voice acted....

The more the merrier, nothing takes me out of the immersion more than lack of VA

I dunno I wish they either made most things voiced or removed all voice acting. It's just awkward and weird to be reading text like I'm used to and randomly some NPC speaks like one line in the paragraph.

Lol i feel ya, i have only heard one of them and it tripped me out to be honest. It took me a second to realize it was her and not some background sound.

Looks like there are two camps 50/50 on this.
I understand and agree with both opinions.
