Why I can only recruit Imperial Troop while in Battania?

O thought I should be able to recruit "Battanian" troops as this is the Faction which I like the most and I would like to stick with them.

Because you are not in Battania. You are in an imperial settlement owned by Battania.
The individual troops exist only in the core lands of the faction.

Hmm is there any way to check if Castle/Settlement is owned by particular faction? Is it mean that Battania was somehow beaten by Imperials or it was other way around so this was previously Imperial Settlement but Battania captured it?

You are oppsed to what :D? I can't see this info in map mode so maybe I can check in Encyclopedia but can't do that now because I'm at work.

actually there is somewhere in a tooltip. or in the journal. idk where but i know for a fact it says what the culture of a location is somewhere.

When you hover over the settlement I know it tells you the Faction. Possibly if you open the cities Encyclopedia it'll state the culture?

But yes, The only place you will find Imperial troops are at original Imperial lands. If the Empire takes over other lands, the culture stays the same, aka, whoever originally owned the land will have troops there. Make sense?
