Killing King/Lords or hold them?
Fighting the "snow ball" team , and won a huge battle. I hold the King and 2 of his top guys...

To help break this faction up , is it better to hold them so they cant make armys?
or just kill them?

Seems if i kill they just get replaced by family.

My goal is to keep more of there armys down, less troops on map.

I havn't killed any lords by fear of them being replaced easily, don't know if that's true, but what i've been doing is just holding them for as long as possible. eventually their faction/clan pays the ransom without me selling them, but it does give me a good time to make progress
They always pay up ? I keep having to re load because they keep breaking free.

only times ive seen them broke free is when i lose a battle or when i go over my prisoner cap, otherwise on the "log" screen says "the ransom has been payed x amount" after some time

With executing, the clan will hate you immediately, and if the person you executed had any friends, they too will hate you. That is really the whole "Every will eventually hate you." part.

Also you'll get a increasing "Debuff" of being dishonorable which also may give a malus towards others even if they don't hate you reputation wise.

I think im going to let the Generals go and kill the king.... Wish it was if you capture the king you win the war or something like the old game....

Next family member in line takes over that "house"

When the king died, his brother takes over
can you actually kill clans?

Yes. Yes you most certainly can. In encyclopedia, it marks the clan as DESTROYED.

Very satisfying.

I execute repeat fief raiders and minor factions. The jawal are a pain in the ass. Wiping out their lords became my number one priority. Theyre like hyenas attacking weakened vassals

after u killed them all what happend to the faction?

I have eliminated an entire faction. Other clans from other factions join even after all clans are destroyed. Annoying but eternally weak.

yes if you execute every member of that clan, but its hard for the last members go into hiding or someone has them in the dungeon

I wish that if we execute enough of a kingdom, that we could dos something to them, like make them join your kingdom as a vassal, or them offer peace for a price or fief, i'am tired of running after some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lord and execute him to a random villager replace him, i literaly just executed a "lord" that was dressed in a farmer clothes.

It's quite sad that it doesn't take in accountancy the kingdom you're in, having negatives bonus while killing prisonners as a Khuzait is just crap lmao.
And tbh it would be hella better if we can just kill the lords directly on the field
