Solo is playing completely alone, if you're in someone else army then you're not solo since you have allies.
It's not likely you'll win the game that way, but you could likely survive for a very long time.
AFAIK, there's no way to "lose the game." So, eventually, given an infinite number of chances, the possibility of your winning a Solo campaign reaches very close to 1 pretty quickly. :)
I tried that, but after a lot of fighting and getting to -100 relation with half of the map, when I then killed one of their last nobles, their territories instantly fell to the nearest kingdom. So there was nothing to conquer. Very frustrating waste of 6+ game hours. And the safe was also burned by my actions.
Also, the diplomacy AI showed to be very not existent over the course of my conquest.
I think the OP is talking about a true "Solo" campaign as in having no other troops, no Companions, and being a "One Man Army." :)
that's just insane lol
You didn't solo play at all if you had elite troops. You still had your army around you...
Solo would be you and only you for the rest of the game. And that's not going to work.
But it would be a funny idea of a lonewolf laying siege to a castle...
