"Own a settlement" Prerequisite for founding a Kingdom?
In order to found a kingdom, I need 100 Troops, Clan Tier 3, I need to be independent and own a settlement. I fulfill the first three, but how do I get a settlement without starting a war with a kingdom or entering ones service? Can you start one? Can you buy one?

You can enter a Service of a Faction, gather influence by participating in armies and giving prisonors or troops to Castle and City Garrisons (or Prisons).

300 Influence if the lord doesn't give it to you by its own for instant buy on a vote your ellegible for (participated in army for the capture raises chance for that)

when you leave the service of that faction, the lord asks you to hand over these settlements am i wrong ? so it's kinda pointless, isn't it ?

You can keep your settlements - but risk war.

if i remember correctly, you can take the town (making war on the faction) but when you go to the quest giver and your kingdom gets created, you are no longer at war with anyone

Then you say no and become independent while keeping your land. But that leads to war.

I want to help the realms that are having a hard time to try keep all the realms in the game kind of thing.

How to do that and have a castle, and also do the quest, is not easy to know what happens.

i dont think you can tbh, snowballing is strong here, i didnt meddle in the faction affairs yet 3 factions almost took over the map

Just take a castle really fast then run to the guy and finish the quest..... your war will be over automatically on quest completion and you will be at peace with everyone as if nothing happens

I took a castle with only 140 men I did it super quick rushed to the quest guy handed it in and boom... no longer at war

Same just building up and doing the quest slowly but thinking how to go about either siding with a realm or allying with one, and trying for a castle.

Thanks this sounds great. Can ally with realms later?

Wait for a faction to take a castle. Swoop in before they have enough defenders, but you want their army to be a good distance away, preferably fighting. Take the castle. Sell prisoners/loot, you want at least 40k denari, when they come knocking sallie out and sue for peace. Give them 30-40k, war over.

This is such an important topic to.

In WB can ally i remember that i think :), but have only played the last days mod for such a long time, but that mod doesnt allow the character to have castles at all as far as i know.

How this all plays out in BL is interesting.

No worries though, its sure diplomacy or what ever will be added later.
