Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Money printing machine - early / low renown (abuse/bug/spoiler)

1. Villages have fixed prices. They share prices of within the group of villages they are in (castle/city). When they are connected to a city, their price is close to that of the city, but when you sell, price is not dropping. They have limited money (1000), but there are usually 2-3 with the same price around. They are good to buy and to sell from, especiall at the beginning to get some denars.
2. Cavarans prices behave like that of the villages. Their prices are based on local price. Do not sell to cities, sell to caravans, they have up to 17k denars and prices do not drop. If you see a city or village has high price, trade to caravans nearby instead. For citiy, intercept at gates if needed ;P
3. Caravans reset their money, when you talk to them again

You can snowball to 50k+ denars trades quite quickly with renown 0. Run a round, buy stuff cheap, then cities with long war history tend to have very high prices for everything. Or simply buy 1000 of something and then find a city where its expensive and intercept caravan and sell it all cause infinite caravan money.

IN my opinion the prices at cities are way to volatile. You can barely sell few units until the price is not worth it anymore. This does not really scale good with progression. making trade not worthwhile. The only thing that make it worthwile are the fixed village and caravan prices, bit this again is cheaty easy to snowball.

1. Caravans should not reset money when you talk to them
2. Village and Caravan prices should scale when bought/sold, like in cities
3. The volatility of prices should be WAY lower, than what we currently have, or you will have trouble growing trade business and all your haul capacity is worthless, if you can't sell stuff.

I also noticed that. Bought a ♥♥♥♥ ton of furs, intending to sell them on my way across the continent. Intercepted a caravan and sold them all without a price drop.
Just had a transaction worth 80k .... A city has everything like +100% margin and a caravan emerged ... A volume of about 12500 sold.
*update*
I forgot m 261 sheeps a 131 and 100 cows a 228, I am now over 100k in one trade xD

I agree, its like 10 fish sold in the city tanks the price 2 gold per.

crazy.
Yeah, when they fix the issue, they also should fix the volatility, because otherwise trade will simply be broken differently and additionally useless ;P
