Ransom Companions
Can you ransom your companions back? Mine get captured from time to time and I've never found a way to do it except wait out the prison timer then to pick them up for the farthest city in the world from where you're standing when they get released.

it will happen automatically when either the ai player puts them to the ransom broker or the event at a castle/town they get stowed in fires. You cant not ransom them. There is no way to hurry it.
