Can't speak to people in dungeons?
I'm trying to complete the main quest and speak to all the Kingdom leaders, one is imprisoned.

I bribed my way into the dungeon but when I went to his cell, I can't speak to him. Why not?

Well you cant speak with anyone in the prison because during those times prisoners would get their mouths closed with a certain mouthguard that resembled the horse harness so that they could give no information until the village court got into seesion. See the Taleworlds though of everything.

I had one say to me "I am not allowed to speak." So... yeah it is a feature. Some of them are in a position where it is hard for you tyo get into position to interact with them as well.

he will eventually escape or his/her faction will pay a ransom and you can carry on the crazy lord hunt. hit fast forward and keep an eye on the scrolling notifications to see when said prisoner makes their move. sometimes they are in there for a couple of days...but saying that i had a guy in my prison for about 3 months before he escaped. i think he might have liked the grapes...

There should be a guard preventing that sorta SPEAKING!

Wasted around 900 denars quite early in the game meself in my quest to free a possible waifu candidate from a dungeon.
Felt a bit sad I couldn't start fighting with the guards there.
Yes, I would've ended up a prisoner too, but would've liked to have the option.
Would've been immersive.

oh come on they could have added a bribe option to speak with the prisoner or something this is ridiculous! This game sucks.

Break him out! Gets you a ton of relationship with them as well
