GPU issues with Banner Lord (Resolved)
I am not sure what might be cause this but when I am playing Banner Lord it cranks my GPU up to over 90% usage while playing and over 60% usage just sitting on the main menu screen when you start up the game.

I have on a couple of occasions experienced some serious graphical errors. A couple of time while in a battle all the textures for the environment and characters went black. All i could see what the sky box and unit icons.

My video card is a EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1660 SC ULTRA
Also my video card is brand new.

Here is a link to a image of my task manager while just siting idle looking down on the city where my character is: https://imgur.com/Jtz6W6f

This i have done already to reduce gpu usage:
- reduced all relevant performance settings to the lowest they can go - (No effect)
- reduced the frame rate limiter to 90 fps down from the default 200 fps - (no effect)

So right now I am not sure if its the game or my PC not liking the game or what not but I do know that I don't have this problem with any of my other game like Ashes of the Singularity or X4: Foundations etc.

If anyone has and ideas or knows how to fix this it would greatly appreciated. In the mean time i think I will have to shelve Banner Lord cause I have no desire to ruin my brand new GPU.

Limit the framerate to something sensible, like the monitor's refresh rate.

Turn shadows to static, cap to 60 right now reduce sound quality

Oh, one thing to make your GPU struggle less in sieges and large battles: Reduce the number of visible corpses.

Thank you guys for responding. I did all the stuff you guys suggested.

On the main menu my GPU usage went down around 20% and sits around 40% usage and in game it went down around 40% and now sits between 54%-60% usage. That makes me feel a lot more comfortable playing Banner Lord.

Thanks again you guys.

1660 is just abit better then the aging 1060
its an entry level gpu at the moment,I know its stupid since it does cost $$$$ but thats the gpu market we live in today
I play with 1660 super and big battles dip below 60 fps if you dont lower settings
