Arzagos quest hideout disappeared
So I was doing the quest where Arzagos asks you to get a piece of the banner from a hideout. I've finished the other one without problem. But when I cleared the hideout for the first time, it disappeared, and I didn't get the banner piece.

(I'm aware of the fact that other people have encountered this issue aswell, but the more we talk about it, the better.)

I followed someone's advice earlier before. I had accepted both missions at the same time, and did then in reverse order that I received them. The girl's mission worked, but the guy's mission bugged. Did the hideout, was hard even at Clan Lv.4. See trick below how to defeat a 40-50+ hideout. Anyway, I beat the hideout but didn't get anything. So I ran around the Quest's City, even the other city, and destroyed maybe like 8 hideouts (i don't think you need that many). After destroying another hideout about two towns away from the city, I start walking towards the city and POP the Marked Hideout (which if you zoomed out, shows as a quest marker) shows its filthy self. Go in, murder things, and then I get the 3rd damn Banner.

TLDR: Keep killing hideouts, after failed quest hideout for banner, around the Marunath City. Don't go to far just look for whatever hideouts are hiding, which can respawn the quest hideout, which was like SUPER close to the city when it spawned.

TIP how to take on 50+ hideouts (Cheese).

It's not easy even with this trick. Take your 6-8 guys with shields, do a shield wall, hide them at an elevation/hill below the center point (about 3 seconds away). Shoot an arrow to get the attention of one area's camp (4-12 enemies), make them chase you. Once you run past the center point, shield up and look back. As soon as the first few guys come, CHARGE those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Try to get cheap back attacks while your guys tank.

The reason to do this trick, is when you try to charge a camp shooting you from far with perfect aim, ur guys die one by one. This trick cheats them into coming in melee range without shooting at you. HOPE THIS HELPS. YAY MOUNT AND BLADE IS BACK! <3 this game.

Same for me. Did you duel the boss or killed everyone ?

I have killed everyone. I've dueled once, and failed miserably :steamsad: .

I found this workaround on this discussion :

"Dragon Banner", quest can bug out, so that you can't complete the quest chain because you won't get a necessary piece. (Before talking to Azagos in Marunath, locate and destroy any hideouts near Marnuath. After that, you should be able to complete the quest as normal (as the quest will create a new hideout which contains the banner).)

Well, I haven't cleared the hideouts before talking to him, so I don't think that this would solve my problem. But useful, nonetheless, so thanks!

I am extremely outnumbered trying to clear this hideout for the last piece. Only being able to take 8 troops and not even select which ones is friggen ridiculous.

Didn't worked for me.
One thing to note is that I'm a mercenary and was at war with the kingdom of Battania before starting the quest

Yeah I got 70 well trained men but "Hey guys, why don't we attack this hideout with 5 naked archers without their bow ?"

It's proven that reaching lvl 3 clan status, auto fixes the quest.

Haven't gotten so far my self, but some states it works

They just published an update, the bug isn't listed here but let's see if it works now.
Any tips to reach clan lvl 3 fast ? Just hit lvl 2 it'll be long ;w;

no still not working after update, i just spent 17 days running around making sure there weren't any nearby hideouts... cleared 2 that were super far away... then i made sure to try and win with a dual at the end... still no dice.

it helped and now im back to the story, its unfortunate because last save i had more than 200k gold and 2 full parties 3 workshops etc... and now i had to restart but it worked
