Butchering animals

How does one butcher the animals you have in your party? Sitting on like 30 sheep and 15 cows and Id like to get the meat wool and leather out of them.

To butcher example your pigs in your inventory, then open your inventory and click the pig icon and a small menu will expand giving you the option to slaughter the animal for meat and skin. Be aware when you do this the skin and meat weight is allot more heavy than your pig for some reason so if you could carry example 30 pigs then you now have 600 weight.

Personaly i entered a town and exit it again so my character stand right outside the town gate. Then i butcher all my animals and could jump into the city this way and sell it instant.
I pay about 950 for all the pigs i could carry at the start of the game and after i butcher the animals i got 2200 gold. So actual a pretty nice fast way to earn money.
You can butcher pigs, sheep and maybe even donkys and horses. So if you start as a batarian you start in a nice spot will all these animals close to your start possition.
