PSA! do not accept company of trouble quest!

this quest broke my game, mercenaries you pick up will suck your supplies dry in a few days and you cannot get rid of them unless you can convince a lord to take them which is basically impossible without the rights skills, this really needs to be seen to taleworlds, it REALLY DOES!

While I agree that this is quest is stupid and needs rework, it isn't broken per se. My character is a social embicile and I got rid of them eventually. The problem is that it was sheer luck and it totally destroys any immersion, because not only did I have success, I had success at a lord who actually had a quest with the exact same name and problem. So he just bought off my mercenaries, having the exact same problem already. How does that make sense?

Solved quest for 7 days just running from the castle to castle and finally found a noble who bought it.

Don't pick the quest unless you got high charm. I managed to get a lucky critical success and offload mine to the first noble I found after 3 days but yeah they steal your food.

Paid a decent amount of 2.9k though.

I just finished one of these with 8 charm.
Doesn't seem broken per se- just at the mercy of RNGsus

I pick this quest every time I see it, it gives a lot of money (2-3k). You just need to have the funds to absorb the daily loss. With my level 9 character, I completed it twice in a row and I only got successes in the dialog. Maybe your character is a brute without any social skills ;-)

Lulz this one just accepted this quest.... and literally offloaded them to the Lord of the person who sold them to me XD Thank you RNGesus and lacking common logic to prevent this :D

Yah that quest did kinda suck but i did manage to get rid of them.

It is not broken. It is just hard if you have low dialogue skills. My character has good dialogue skills and this is actually my favorite quests because it pays sometimes 5, 7 or more thousand gold.

It is not broken just because you cant do it.

I take it every time and sell them right away to other ppl in the room, lol. Low charm, just luck
