I do, but what im saying is other games have come out with objectively better mechanics for this. (binding to additional mouse buttons is an incredible step forward after you try it in other games)
Adding bindings for things that are already in the game would be pretty trivial for the developers (all they would have to do is open up bindable keys to the 'movement' directional option. Im not saying ditch the current system, im saying add this option for those of us who hate using our mouse to dictate directions.
This system is excellent, and it works.
It's how it works in Mordhau, it's how it works in For Honor, and in M&B. it's just how games work.
Using keyboard binds for that would be absolute cancer.
But again - more options wouldn't hurt anybody. If people want to play this game using guitar hero controller then more power. I'd pay good money to see that.
update:middle mouse doesn't work for block, keep spinning it the tiniest bit and putting my shield away. I died.
