Not paying army wages???
I could be completely missing something but I have 9000 denars and It keeps saying that I'm missing wages when It only costs -432 and every single time my companion comes to me and gets - opinion. Am I missing something entirely????? Is it a bug?

im might be having the same problem too .Like my troops have begun desserting me i when i look at my party morale is super low when i hover over it show recent events with a giand minus number beside it but it doesent make sense to me i keep wining and my troops arent dying i have plenty food and im killing bandits so it might be that theyre not getting paid .what i wonder now is if they implemented like some realistic stuff were you have to directly pay them

I can't find anything about direct paying in businesses or in the clan page all the cash seems to just magically go to you unlike warband where you had to collect it and a treasurer looked after your kingdom stuff.
I'm making 22k a day off my businesses but apparently cant afford my 400 gold wage bill.

Same, it started just after I purchased a shop (might not be related but it's worth testing)

I'm having this bug right now. I'm with 28k+ gold, stationed in the same city I own enterprises, and even so my soldiers are not getting paid.

100% a bug.

Can anyone confirm if this new update fix this?

(Also, guys, we all knew it would happen in Early Access, so relax please)

"Can we get paid?"

"Ok, how do I pay you?"

"Nevermind, gosh what a bad leader, he'll pay us next time."
It seems the new update fixed this bug (and also sadly lowered by a huge amount the profit of workshops...)

Now, on version 1.6.1, I began to receive the same error that I do not have enough money to pay the wariors. I have 7,000,000 in my treasury. The maintenance of my group costs 5,150 coins. I haven't bought workshops for a long time. The last time I bought a workshop was when I had less than 100,000 in the treasury. The only thing that seems to me to have influenced the error in my salary is that I gathered a lot of elite warriors into my squad. Because if I leave part of these warriors in the garrison of my city and my group costs 4000, then I do not receive this error.

Updated. By the method of transferring soldiers to my companions and back, I seem to have found the threshold value for the cost of the army. If you exceed it, then a message appears stating that you cannot pay the soldiers, even if the treasury is full of money. With an army cost of 5150 coins, I get a message about the impossibility of paying the soldiers and get a morale debuff of -0.7. At a cost of 4700, I get a morale debuff of -0.2. With a cost of 4512, I still get a message saying that I can't pay, but the morale debuff is zero 0. With an army cost of 4478, I don't get messages that I don't have money. I think out that somewhere in the game code there is a clear value, exceeding which will give a debuff for any amount of money in the treasury and your daily income. I think this value is 4500 coins for each one party (not for the whole clan or army + garrisons). Plz fix it

Would be kinda cool if there was another layer to the game, that if there was low Relationships, the Quartermaster was skimming from Troops payrolls.
