Imperial Equite troops, where do I recruit them?
Have a quest to garrison 4 Imperial Equite troops, i have absolutely no idea where to find/buy/recruit them? Only had 10 days left on the quest and it's worth 2k so would like to finish it.

Ok, from what I've found out, it's not trivial - they can randomly appear on any recruitment line, but they are very rare (and most likely will appear on a square that is greyed out for you).

As a reference - the equite line is exclusively cavalry, so check if it's the right one by right clicking on the recruit from the recruiting screen

That said: there is another way. If you have a good leadership level, bandits evolve to the "advanced" chain of their corresponding culture - so theoretically you can just enslave bandits and evolve them. On the other side, I'm not sure what's the corresponding bandit for the empire's culture - I guess none.

Same here. Seems like I shouldn't have picked up the quest because now I won't be able to complete it and the Lord will most likely be angry with me, so good thing I did a backup save before I accepted the quest. Time to reload. xD

Same problem here... would be nice if the devs could describe what you have to do more detailed. Or just put in a help site like in Warband.
Still got 27 Days left so i do my best to solve this quest. :happy_creep:

Had a similar recruit and train quest for King Derthert to deliver 5 Vladian Gallant to Talivel Castle's Garrison Commander.
Game crashes on the loading screen following selecting "Talk to Garrison Commander" in the castle.
A few others have the same issue, shown here:

Certain villages have these that you can recruit, or if you get the Imperial Recruits I think you can train some into the Equites.

Yeah ! wasnt friendly enough to recruit them and there wasnt enough time to make em my friends. Quess i learned something :)

You cant train recruits into them. I have been a lord in the southern empire for not too long and they gave me a town. After a while I have just been helping them as much as I can and I started noticing this unique troop was available at some villages. I think it's based on how well your influence is and or helping that faction out alot. I have a few of them in my army as well as their upgraded troop and man. They whoop ass.

It's a bit silly as this quest was given to me almost immedietly, i wish there was some kind of level cap on quests like that.

From the 5hrs I've played they always evolve into imperial Infantrymen or Imperial Archers. never Equite cavalry.

true, i mean i have had some really hard quests when i started, im around 17-18 hours in. just needs some small fixes. other than that i havent had too many issues other than large battles when trying to lead formations. dont work. but yea just once you find something being a problem avoid it. save alot ALOT.

Imperial Vigla Recruit upgrades to a Imperial Equite, but they need a horse. Where to find an Imperial Vigla Recruit? I totally forgot.

I have no idea. I recruited one but he was a deserter so I simply put him back into my troop after I captured him.
