Then your outlander brainwaves can't function on my superior Dunmer intelligence fields.
you can't have mordhau levels of options because this isn't mordhau, the most you'll get is what we currently have or a little more because you don't get that many options to attack with to begin with/
Wouldn't this directly ruin the game balance on multiplayer?
It is without a doubt quicker and more accurate response to do a single input then a sequenced 2 part input.
M&B requires a sequence of 2 inputs to initiate an attack, mouse movement and then mouse button.
Oddly enough this is the feature of Chiv and Mordhau that I absolutely hate. Not only is it essentially sanctioned cheating, but it ruins the momentum experience you get from moving the mouse with your character to swing the weapon.
That all aside, if it was locked to single player only...go for it.
(fairly certain you can create macro's that access the mouse movement direction to do this anyway)
People toss this around occasionally and it makes no sense to me.
If in real life if one wants to swing a stick in a vertical strike. The arm needs to raise the stick up and then bring it down.
Compare this to mount and blade...you move your mouse/arm in the positive y axis. Then you select the attack or block option. If you are attacking, you benefit in speed bonus (increases damage) by moving the mouse in the negative y axis with your swing.
Just like in real life....arm moves up, then arms moves down....and the faster your arm moves down with the swing the harder the stick hits something.
Now compare that to just pressing the letter "Y" and explain...seriously, explain how that is more intuitive.
Is the erratic head movement also just like real life?
I have no interest in using buttons over the camera for combat but i am not against devs adding in more keybinding options to make the game more enjoyable to a larger group of people. There is no downside to devs adding it.
Seems silly to nerf it so you can play as if you actually have the skill.

Rapid eye movement, absolutely. This can be used offensively and defensively.
Makes me wonder if you ever tried any sort of combat training to make such a comment.
Again, no that isn't what is happening. You have an over the shoulder 3rd person view where the camera is moving with your arms/torso. The head just follows along since the bones are restricted that way.
There is such a mod now. This thread is 5 years old. There wasn't a mod at that time.
