I believe they said that founding your own kingdom isnt in the game at the start of the EA.
Hell, the single player part of the game werent supposed to be in the game until people complained.

Oh interesting. I mean it looks like the features are all there for ruling and what not, but it looks like you need to be a certain clan level or something. Was just wondering if anyone had anymore information.
I took over a town in campaign. The system to rule is in place but the essential diplomacy features of a kingdom and kingdom management is non existent. You can however manage the garrison, upgrade the town etc. Right now I have no noble vassals, just companion party roamers in my territory. I can't make peace, or create alliances.

Awesome! How did you take over a town exactly? Thanks for the response!

That's it? That's a bit disappointing. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot to do :D

You can actually start you own kingdom with more diplomacy features after you teach a certain point in the quest but I don't know if there's a way to become king of an existing faction.

If you become king, good luck...
The strongest faction sends over 500 troops armies at my city every 3 days...
I hold few times, but my troops bleed out eventually, i cannot recruit enough 100+ vet troops per battle i lose.

So even if you get your kingdom you just cant survive, because Campain AI doesnt care, they are merciless

Protip: Don't let them go or release them once they're defeated. Put them in your dungeon. They can't lead an army against you if they are rotting in your dungeon.

Also, my strategy thus far has been to take a town, then once i take it, go make peace. I then rebuild and repeat. No need to wait for them to come to me :)

Yes you can become King/Queen. follow the quest line for a little bit and you will get a quest to create your own kingdom. and also pro tip if you relation with everyone is good before founding your own kingdom you will not have enemies untill your declare war on someone. i found taking out the weaker clans/kingdoms the best to do to gain city's and castles with out having 1000 man army's at my gates

or you could play as a trader and just buy a city... it might take a long time to get trading skill high enough but then you can just buy cities and castles without starting a war at all... best part is you dont get a damaged castle/town with penalties for capturing it.

First do the quest you get the Artifact after you can either support a faction with the artifact or become a king but you need lvl 3 clan and tower.

I started my own kingdom, doing the main quest leads to founding a kingdom and becoming a monarch. But shortly after was declared war upon and because of the snowballing issues there was no point in cont.

Thank god they complained, 90 percent of the playerbase only ever played singleplayer in Warband, and the MP in bannerlord feels like a hollow shell compared to the glorious polished combat of a game like Mordhau.

The Mount and Blade series is first and foremost a singleplayer game franchise.
