Khuzait tribal warrior question
This is probably because i feel microwaved right now, but how do i get horses to upgrade khuzait recruits to Khuzait tribal warriors? It says i require horses and i have none. Took out some steppe nomads and god 4 horses just for it to not work either. Went to the shop and found sheep and goats but not horses.

I want my horse archers damnit!!!

tbh tho this game is fun but im puzzled by this one.

I don't think sumpter horses are "horses" but a pack animal like mules

So i tested this out, you need the repsective horse for the respective faction, for example, Steppe horses for Khujait.

Think I just figured this out. Some of the horses have a Horse Type at the bottom of their stats (i.e. Steppe Horses have type "Horse" and Aserai Horses have type "War Horse"). Sumpter Horses do not have any type listed.

Sumpters, camels and mules are pack animals (and old work horses if you're on beta branch). They significantly increase your carrying capacity, but you cannot use them for unit upgrades. All other horses can be used for troop upgrades, but some troops require war horses. You can see which horses are 'horses' and which are 'war horses' on the tooltip of each horse.

Can confirm that you do not need the "correct" horses to upgrade. If you look on Horses that aren't Sumpter Horses you'll see ther have Type: Horse/Warhorse as a stat.

As mentioned mules, camels and sumpter horses are pack animals and does not count towards upgrades.

No you don't. Faction of horse doesn't matter. There are 3 types of horse:

1. Sumpter Horse/Pack Mule/Pack Camel. These do not increase speed and cannot be used for upgrading a cavalry troop. They increase carrying capacity for your party, and having a small carried weight to capacity ratio increases speed.

2. Horses. These can be used to upgrade any troop to cavalry that requires a "horse." If you have these in your inventory they increase speed up to a point. Don't go over 1 to 1 soldier.

3. War Horses. These can be used to upgrade any troop that requires a "war horse." I believe these increase speed same as "horse" but am unsure.
