Locate and rescue traveller quest can't find thugs

Hi, can't find anyone in the town for this mission even while holding alt, can someone point me in the right direction, thanks!

I found the first 2 groups in and around the village on the tac map but cant come by the 3rd group

no lie ive searched around the village (on tactical) map for days and the 3rd party just arent showing up

just looked at the quest says i got it 7 days ago still no sign of them

10 days gone by no sign of the 3rd group looks like i will have to start over for a 3rd time already and not do the tutorial

15 days gone by still no show ffs man this game is riddled with bugs.

I'm having the same problem. In my game, I fought the southern-most group first, and then as I moved north to find the other two, I found them fighting a passing caravan, which instantly wrecked them without adding to my 1/3 count, and no more are repawning.

I also don't see a way to restart the quest so it looks like I need to start a new game???

Lucky for me, I save the game before this quest, and after 4 try the caravan didn't kill them. I think in warband was a problem too, I hope they change the quest behavior, that only you can kill them.

in case of confusion, they're not inside the village.

I'm doing it for the first time, and upon leaving the village, I found all three right outside of it. Due to how close they were, I fought against all of them at once.

Just started the game and ran into this issue where I could only find two. Probably the third one died somewhere. After a day or two (maybe longer???) the third one spawned from village.
