No sprint? Main character is sooo slow!
I don't see a keybinding for a sprint or run, and the slowest people I've seen are nearly twice as fast as I am, even peasants that you recruit and my Vigor is 5.

Why should the player character be so much slower than everyone else? When I raid bandit lairs, unless they need my help to win I'm better off just telling them to charge and twiddling my thumbs because they'll finish it twice as fast without me.

are you walking? normally character runs if you move

same with my character. I looked up the controls and it says if you hit W twice you will charge but nothing happens. The shift key which is normally the sprint button in games just zooms in your view.

there is no sprint in this game like in others. get used to it

also gear weight will slow you down, you want to rush about, carry light weapons and light armour. you wont move fast in heavy scale with a 2h

you'll speed up with skills. all the other character are considerably faster than you because AI tend to have high endurance which seems to govern running.

!Encumbrance! - Total equipped armor and weapon weight. High encumbrance will slow down your on foot movement speed.
You can see that in your inventory menu.

I think it has to do with the fitness stat but not sure. Mine is 16 and I am super slow.

Even with light armor on peasants are faster than me. Very tedious.

The map speeds are worse, in my opinion. I can't catch anyone, unless they run from another party, or get stuck in a dead end.

Horses genuinely feel like they're under the effect of neutron star level gravity.

I chased a looter party for 6 game days until my party ran out of food just to see if it would ever happen. Nope.

Yeah. Kind of in a dead end free-roam wise. Too slow to chase small prey, too weak to fight big prey.

The maps speeds are horrible, even with the party speed skills. I hope this isn't final, because it's sucking the fun out of the experience.

There is also no point in joining an army as a mercenary. Waited days for a siege to finally happen, lost all my money to wages, get no daily exp, and the parent army ate all my food. Won the battle got like 7 morale. Really needs some balancing.
