Brother died, main questline stuck
So my player character's brother just died. There is a 10 year in-game time limit to complete the quest. Kinda sad to find about that after pumping several hours in smithing and preparing myself to continue once I was ready.

So ladies and gentlemen, complete the main quest within 10 years.

Jipper out and back to forging.

EDIT: The quest in question was 'Assemble the Dragon Banner'. Could be each individual part of the questline has 10 year limitation.

I have played piano for 20 years in real life and still don't feel ready to take over the world.

What have you been doing those 20 years?!?! What else would piano be preparing you for? Concerts? Backyard parties?!?!?! To put it in the words of another game I like: SHAMEFUR DISPRAY

I guess huge disappointment to people? Also I can play memes on piano so I got that going for me which is nice. And jokes aside, I've had several concerts, been working as a musician in a local piano bar + made several people cry by playing in weddings, funerals, baptisms, celebrations and so on. But that still doesn't make me feel like I could conquer the world. Maybe after 30 years.

Or maybe I should've just picked up smithing instead. Seems I could get ready to start my own empire within like 15 years or so.

With Bannerlord's rate of gained xp and skillpoints, you would have barely managed to refine all the materials for your smithing venture in those 15 years.

I'll take barely over never though. Going at 178 or so. I will be happy at around 200 for the masterwork perk. Rest of the grind can wait until I have established some ground.

So just curious. What are the ramifications of Failing the quest? Does it end the game?

The game is a giant sandbox and just continues. Only main quest unavailable. Means I can still set my own goals such as 300 smithing within next 20 gaming hours.

Man this game starts to remind me of RuneScape.
