Companion Trait's and what they do.

Cant seem to find any info on how companion trait's work. Like merciful or devious traits.

40 hours in the game already and honestly... i have no idea, the closest guess is how they operate leading their own party

It's probably not fully implemented yet, or just isn't explained. I think it currently has SOME effect though, because I've had companions initiate conversations with me expressing concerns after certain triggers, such as raiding villages or failing to pay troop wages. I think this might be related to the companions traits.

those people who keep whining about you looting and pillaging villages have yellow traits - the red traits will whine if you do cowardly things

yes and their last names define their 'class' so speak

I don't think the traits work at the moment, just like many of the perks.

Can someone please explain to me why you get negative rep with your own clan when one of your companions f.ex whines about you pillaging villages, and if this negative rep does anything?
