F1 F2 etc
When i press F1 it takes me out of the game and launches a web-page. Its like the F buttons are doing their normal functions and not the in game order I want it to do. Is there a way to stop this happening? please someone help i really want to try this game out

That sounds like an issue with your OS. If your F keys are set in Windows (or whatever you use) to do a certain thing, they will continue to do that thing no matter what program is running. Try running a different game and pushing F1, see if the same thing happens.

It's the same reason I ended up having to turn the sticky keys function off on my computer. Holding shift was the command that Windows thought meant you wanted sticky keys. Holding shift is also a very common input in video games. Windows always thinks its key commands are the most important.

cant you remap the F buttons ? to numpad numbers for example ?

I could remap the F buttons to the number buttons. but then i wouldnt be able to use the commands that they are already there for

It's a laptop issue as laptops use F keys for brightness, sound or even launching a help page.

Just hold down your FN key before touching any F keys.This has nothing to do with this specific game but all games that use F keys.
