Caravans are WAY too fast.

It's virtually impossible to catch caravans, they reach top speeds of... 6.4 or more!!

How the heck are they so fast, with all the crap they are hauling?
Only way to catch them is if you aren't already at war with the faction OR get lucky and corner them somewhere.

I find you can catch them pretty easily if you have a lot of spare horses and pack animals in your inventory. They do haul pretty fast though, I wonder if they'll drop the speed in the future.

I find the easiest way to catch them is to run a full calvary army + it helps a little if your character is a khuzait giving that 10% campaign speed

No need for mods, you just need horses fam. I'm movin at 8.4 in early mid game with 80 soldiers.

keep in mind if you mod to slow them that puts your own caravans at risk also :/

but yea in my last game playing horse archers horde my speed is like 7 XD its awesome

tip..: if you want to ride fast, then upgrade your skill AND only have troops in your inventory who ride on a horse.. ( remember to buy horses ) and dont carry prisoners and a heavy load.. then you will be able to go pretty fast.

Oh yeah prisoners are a huge slowdown, can get you in hot water if youre not careful after a battle.
