So what are your weapon of choices?

currently im rolling with glaive, shield, arrow and bow for skirmishes. was using long reach spear, but have to always maintain distance, thus losing some dps comparing to glaive.

Two handed glaive for days. I get body counts of 20+ easily on nearly any environment, and on a battanian thoroughbreed its swing basically means I can hunt and one shot nearly any cavalry unit with ease.

Then a good bow for sieges. I'm actually thinking about replacing the shield for a short sword for duels and such, because lately I use the shield very little

Siege/Default: 1/2H Sword, Bow, Arrow, Shield. Fit in both field and siege.
More serious field: 1/2H Sword, Lance, Javelin, Shield.

There's little point in crafting a dedicated 2H sword. A crafted 1/2H sword can get to 138 reach with hefty damage easily enough. And the extra swing damage and reach from going dedicated 2H are not that much.

Lance and 1-h sword/shield for horseback and a tiny little mace for close quarters bashing during sieges.

dudes, try the dine steel menavlion, its a lance that can couch and can swipe when held with both hands, its op tbh.
then a shield a 2 harpoons.

If I'm doing a Khuzait Horse Archer playthrough, a bastard sword, a decent bow and two quivers.
Anything else, a shield and a bastard sword (or a sabre), bardiche, and either something to throw or a second shield.

Most shops do sell decent weapons, just not armor. If you're really hurting for gear just marry a female lord and steal hers.

that black 2 handed axe you get from arena... its frigging strong af XD kill multiple targets in one swing.

Long reach one handed sword, Vlandian heavy lance, short reach one handed sword, and shield (typically something small that will not block vision.)

I used to use one sword and a stack of javalines but have had the issue that my long reaching swords will hit off allies and shields even on horse back, which is where I usually am. So I started to keep a short reach side arm for when I'm fighting in large groups so I don't only have stabs and downward slashes to use against enemies.

Second vote for fine steel menavlion, it says 14 cut damage on the icon but it hits for 10 times that. It kills anything in 1 hit, and if you couch it it kills horses in 1 hit. Add in the 208 length that means you can sit out of melee range of any other unit and you have a beast of a weapon.
