Too many female companions
It's hard to find companions who aren't a woman in this game. What happened to the social ideologies of Warband where women were like outcast of the warrior society? In Warband it was hard to find a female companion, now in Bannerlord it's hard to find a male companion. Did society regress in 200 years in their view of women or something?

Press N, go to heroes, filter to male, filter to wanderer. Boom, every male companion in the game and their location.

Whats the problem with having a harem and some Brienne of Tarths doing the Jobs for you?

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thanks I didn't even know this existed
Who knows. Maybe the female character are placeholders for more fleshed out male character. Maybe they didn't have time to make it like it was in Warband. Or maybe it was something that bugged alot of people and so removed it, even though there was an option to remove sexism in Warband.

It is, in fact, a placeholder of some sort.
The companions in the game's current state are auto generated. Only their last names designate their "template" so to speak, e.g. Willowbark.
There are files which reveal that the developers have created fleshed out unique companions, but they are disabled for now

Pressing n works for finding them, but it is still strange that so many people are experiencing this. Me as well, in both runs i started so far. And it is still strange that it's around 50/50 with women mostly being the poor, good ones and men being the brutal ones. It should be consistent with Warband, otherwise it's just too obviously politically intended, which should be preferable for none of us.

Edit: Great to hear that there is more to come regarding companions, i still have the feeling that it will be strongly influenced by modern political beliefs.

Sexism is historically accurate for any medieval setting, I don't understand why they changed that. Kind of immersion breaking honestly.

Considering you need companions to run caravans and as stewards, the game needs randomly generated ones.

That explains it then, I probably just got a biased dice roll of nothing but female companions. Oh well, good to know it's randomly generated and not permanent for every playthrough.

Well, they're not conventional warriors, I don't think. And the player has the choice to pick them into their party or not.

Sexism may be a bigger part of Bannerlord than it was in Warband. Untill we get closer to the full release of the game, we should wait and see if sexism returns.
