Helmets look goofy

Yeah, so most of the helmets stop us from looking cool, they're so highly placed and look a bit goofy. Was wondering if they could fix that or at least make new helmets that look better. I know, it's purely cosmetic but it's always a big plus if you can make characters look good.

You have to understand why they look that way. The coned shaped helmets are so plunging arrow fire glances off and not pen.

Conical helmets are actually rather good at protecting your head. They keep blades and bludgeons far from your skull, and their sharp angles deflect blows better than more "practical-looking" helmets would. It was a good compromise back in the days before advanced metalworking that gave Europe things like visors and Crusader helms.

All of the Vlandian helms are fairly cool, in my opinion. I've had a flat helm I won in a tournament for about four years now and it's served me well.

What bothers me is the lack of chainmail gorgets and proper coifs.
Even the Vlandian baner knights use a weird green piece of cloth around their necks, instead of proper armor.

I think armor looks generally good in this game. But the characters usually look awful.

I've always despised the whole "cone-head"-helmet thing in all iterations of games (whether it's historical or not), but it kind of blends in well with this game. There will probably mods for this though and I will be sure to get them, lol.
