Game Crashing with any mods enabled
Is there a fix for this? No matter what mod i enable, the game crashes on startup.

Specifically trying to use Autoblocker, MBfastdialogue and Bannerlord Tweaks.

Unblock the mod's .dll files. Open the mod folder in your modules folder, then navigate to bin -> Win64_Shipping_Client. Right click on *modsname*.dll and select Properties. In the popup window, check the 'Unblock' checkbox at the bottom of the General tab.

if "unblocking" doesnt work,

you need to check the submodule.xml of all downloaded mods (use notepad).

there should be a line of text that reads :

<DefaultModule value="false"/>
<SingleplayerModule value="true"/>
<MultiplayerModule value="false"/>
<DefaultModule value="false"/>
<Official value="false"/>
<DependedModules>
<DependedModule Id="Native"/>
<DependedModule Id="SandBoxCore"/>
<DependedModule Id="Sandbox"/>
<DependedModule Id="CustomBattle"/>
<DependedModule Id="StoryMode"/>
</DependedModules>

just under the line :

<Version value="v1.0.5"/> (exact words may differ per mod)

you'll have to manually add this to each mod or itll hang on load.

Have you unblocked all of the files in the modules folders?

Thanks, unblocking all my .dlls did the trick :)

(Completely forgot to do it again after updating my mods)

There is no pop up windows.. Game always crash.. This game is ♥♥♥♥ thats it.. Cant even launch with any mods.
Naryar Apr 16, 2020 @ 7:05pm
I think bannerlord tweaks might have made it broken ?

Am currently playing with a few mods and it runs fine. I currently run fast dialogue, attribute per level (the every 3rd level version), and a few other mods and it runs fine.

The game certainly crashed a lot at the beginning with a bigger mod list however. I put less mods and now it works.

I dont have an ´Unblock´ option.. Only boxes for check/uncheck is ´hidden´ and Read-only` ? :(
Professor Goat Apr 21, 2020 @ 8:52am
there is a "unblock dlls" mods on nexus. that may help. if you dont have the unblock option in your properties, then that probably isnt the problem. its individual mod's .xml profiles having a wrong command line for loading on launch or some jazz like that.
If there's no unblock option then they are already unlocked. The issue might be in the launcher or the mods being outdated.

#AC# stay at versions to play with mods. also will bork the savegame every 2 days with new patch.
Same issue, any and all mods cause the crash, regardless of order and installation method.

Spent 6-7 hours trying to figure out which was mod was causing it, verifying that cache by essentially redownloading the entire game over and over...

The only info I could gather informed me of dependencies for 0Harmony given prior to removing the culprit, an outdated mod, and the dependency. Both of which should have worked based on comments I read dating back the last 2 days but have not since say the 19th-20th. Update related perhaps but all the same there could be more done by the developers to rectify this, given how much the modding community have contributed to Warband. (With the experience between the two this should have already been ironed out and made ready)
