Average required investment for marriage

How much have you guys invested to get married so far? I am trying to get a general idea of how long i should be waiting before I attempt anything. I have already stated the affection dialogues for potential partner already if that helps.

OK by all what you do SAFE your game. the first attemp with your future wife is easy but the secound time you will visit here you can ask for marriage. The dialoge game starting here was for me hard as hell in if you fail there is no point back.

So do yourself a favour and make a safe before doing it.
Afrer succeeding the next step is investing 30k to here father after that you be happily married.

yeah i did the marriage dialogue from what im aware, had like 3 success/fail chances before, had like 3 95% chance successes

Mostly wondering about steps after that since its not set in stone yet.

Seemed rather easy compared to Warband. I only needed to talk to her twice, and despite my relation to her being still at 0 she accepted. Then I asked her liege if I can marry her and I just had to pay him some money. I gave him 15k but I think I could have gotten away cheaper probably. So it's not really much work involved, not like in Warband. But I think it's currently mostly a placeholder and not fleshed out yet.

so sounds a bit less than i was expecting. I was kind of expecting like 100k downpayment, but i am probably going to have to wait a while to raise more funds, kinda low on cash right now, got a caravan rolling but the income is all over the place right now, havnt invested into a workshop yet since im focusing on aserai and last time the workshops didnt seem to pay off that well, at least the few productions i have tried.

So I only have like a 1 or a 2 relation with a couple clans in my kingdom. I decided to get married, so I found a girl I hadn't met before. Talked to her once to declare my intentions, then immediately talked to her again and passed the dialogue checks.

Luckily she also had a "Spy Party" quest available so I did that real quick.

After that I left the city and went into a battle against the first looter party I found and then returned.

This conversation was MUCH harder. I think I reloaded because I failed like almost 10 times. Finally though I passed both checks and she said to go get permission from her clan leader.

He wasn't too far off, gathering in an army, so I went to him real quick and talked to him about it. The barter window came up so I held down my mouse on the + button for denars. It went up to about 1300 before I decided that might take too long, so I dragged the slider out to about 15,000 which he was happy with. I then proceeded to lower it a couple thousand at a time and balanced it out. In the end I paid 4,800 denars and then we were wed!

Its cheap if you go for the poor noble wenches. Only paid leik 500 bucks. The slut is popping out babies like there is no tomorrow. I wonder if there is a cap on how many kids... Oh well free soldiers I guess..

okay turns out its not even that expensive even for a semi-decent family, though tbh i dont exactly know the wealth that they have, but i kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up at a point and invested 10k without knowing the exact process , but have obtained wife and soon-to-be child. Literally invited to party and about 2 days later the alert poped up lol. Quite curious to see how the children attributes and stats will work but ill wait until i get there for that, would be interesting if it took a portion of the parent's stats but im not expecting that at all. Still got a long way before my original character dies since they are only like 42 or so, assuming old age is around 70s.
