Starving Castle
Please make it possible to donate food directly to your fief's stocks. If you can store prisoners and army, why not food stocks?
I've spent quite a lot of time and resources on advancing food production, but I'm still on negative. At the same time I've got enough food to last my party for 2 months. I don't think it's completly inconceivable to ask that I could share the food with the army I keep outside my party.

Not tested it myself but I think you can sell food to the villages attached and it might bump the food number, it might have to be a good variety of food tho

From what I've read in the past threads, it doesn't work.
And regardless, my castle's own food stocks shouldn't be 100% dependant on raidable villages nearby. The passive PRODUCTION should, but there's absolutely no reason to block me from supplying them myself if I want to.

I did also notice when my castles food was going into negative I had 200 of the 0 cost troops that the ai dumped in there eating away at my food. Other than that I have no idea, fully agree you should be able to stockpile food in castles though.

Not going to help much, but I just abandoned the castle and tried my best until I got a settlement. If the settlement starves you can sell to the marketplace- wait a day- and then it will go up to a positive income for food. I had to sell roughly 200 units of grain though.

I wish I could provide more info besides this.

It won't help
The next caravan will buyout all the food because it's lower than average price, since you supplied them in excess.

Yeah, the food mechanic was a nice idea, but with prosperity and militia essentially making you starve it doesn't really work 100% properly lol.
