The tutorial in this game is a disgrace
They explain nothing about the gameplay mechanics. I have experience with games and of course i can learn by myself but still the game should do a much better job explaining things

Have you played the original Mount and Blade? Not Warband, the OG. It plopped you into the world and said good luck!

This game relies a lot on exploration. You kinda figure things out as you struggle through it all and when you finally get somewhere in the world you feel great haha :) I do hope they flesh out the encyclopedia more to explain game concepts better.

If you want to learn the game I recommend reading steam guides or watching youtube guides.

At this point, would rather they concentrate on fixing far more concerning problems, for example the game just crashed, and a myriad of other more pressing issues.

Last thing i'm worried about right now with this game is a Tutorial

You can learn things easy enough through exploration of the game and trial and error.

But game crashes, bugs, and all the other problems, well, put it this way, no point doing a Tutorial if the game doesn't even work properly anyway, or it's rubbish because haven't dedicated time to making it better and instead wasted time on a Tutorial that is largely unnecessary.

They could literally leave a Tutorial out of this game and just make the game properly and better, and I would take that trade off every day of the week.

To be honest, OP is right. The tutorial does nothing to tell you about; feinting, chambering, shield bashing/pommel strikes, attack combos or about positioning yourself on the left side of a shielded opponent so your left handed strikes can sometimes bypass his shield and attack the back. All of this stuff you need to learn yourself, or have it beaten into you via multiplayer matches.

It's a sandbox game, you learn through practice.

Yeah it is true. The game explains literally nothing.

Not talking about combat, combat is pretty easy.

You shouldn't have to.

We live in a world full of tutorial videos on everything imaginable, yet it's a crime against humanity that game kind of expects you to go figure it our for yourself.

Most games don't have a good tutorial it's standard practice at this point. If you really want to learn about the game that's what steam and youtube guides are for.

You don't have to. You can just play and learn as you go if that's what you want. I realize going to youtube or some outside tutorial is just appallingly difficult and all.

To be honest most of the game mechanics are either not implemented yet or broken- whats the point of teaching you broken or non existing mechanics?
I get your point but most games tutorials suck- specialy those with complex mechanics, its usualy up to the player to self educate.

Please TaleWorlds, teach me these mechanics as a natural part of the game. Don't leave it to YouTube and multiplayer.
