Executing a King

When I hunt down and execute every single noble of a faction, including their leader, why don't I get all their castles and cities? It all goes to a random AI faction.

Even if I talk to the last remaining leader that I captured, there's no option to cede me control of any castles or cities in exchange for their life.

My manhunt has all been for nothing :(

XD I can't believe I just read that. Oh gods, them adding executions was wonderful, it gives us the M&B equivalent of the murderhobo stories from D&D.

There's a console command with the dev console mod that outright just GIVES you a settlement. You could use those to get their fiefs.

How do you execute them? I just throw em in prision to rot as it deprives said faction of their noble for a few days. I'd like to capture the nobles of the "snowball" faction so I can weaken them for other factions to fight back.I only see "take prisoner" or "let them go"

When captured lord, click on him and there will be option to execute

Your nobles actually stay prisoner? Mine escape the literal next day after taking them, and come at me with a 40 stack army on the day they escaped.

Just siege a castle nobody but one or two weaker lords care about to draw them in then swoop in on them, it's like printing experience and loot.

That's what I've been doing so far to stop the steamrolling. However I've heard of them getting sold from dungeons, so I've kept them with me and executed them when the list got too cluttered. Tidying up with Marie Kondo.(I should make my next game with that name lol)

To execute, go to the party prisoner list and click on the person to open the small menu to reveal a red button.

I executed almost every Aserai lord, including like 5 consecutive sultans. They just keep on coming, but the faction is pretty much dead with only 2 cities left and just the sultan, no lords. Say goodbye to wooing a lady after your honor hits the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tho

You need your own kingdom to do that actually, not be part of one tho. Did that with Aserai and got all settlements

Everyone was killed - sons, daughters brothers, children, spouces and vassels. I have my own Kingdom but if I kill the last remaining member to end the faction (the king/Queen), then I don't get their settlements... Seems like an oversight.
