Remove the cap on Businesses, Please!

Why did they think it would be a good idea to cap how many businesses someone can buy? I have the money to buy them, so let me buy them. Jesus so restrictive for no good reason.

Probably to keep you busy while they fix bugs and eventually add more content to the game. They'd rather see you burn out from the grind, than burn through the game leaving you feeling like it wasn't entertaining.

This just going to annoy me more than anything else, why would I want to play a game that artificially limits my ability to grow wealth and power, when literally the entire game is about that.

They better change this, or at least put in a setting to change it ourselves.

They will change it, what I meant was they did it to keep people playing during the early access, so it doesn't look like everyone bought and played the game for 4 hours then left it the hell alone afterwards. That's why everything is so capped and grindy. Speaking of which, I wish that skills didn't hard cap just because your attributes aren't high enough to keep you going, it can send you into a softlock of almost never being able to level up, because the only skills you have left to level to actually gain exp towards the next level is the crossbow skill for instance, and since tournaments doens't give exp, you have to kill a troop with a crossbow or pay 40k for one to actually level up again.

Yes, that's the other thing that is really annoying right now, not getting xp in tournament. Again, that is literally the purpose of tournaments for Knights to practice their skills and improve.

And yes, you are right, these caps every where are really annoying. And completely unnecessary. They should just let us level things up as we play, by increasing in skill as we use that skill. No need to have any caps. These caps everywhere are just annoying as all hell.

And the companion cap, anyone know how to edit the files to bypass this rubbish?

at tier 2 of the clan, it only lets you build 3 businesses. So you get capped out on your potential income, and end up with tonne of gold sitting there impossible to invest it in anything, since you are also capped on the caravans, on 1 per companion. But you are also capped on the companions, so you are capped on the caravans.

Really hate these dumb caps they put on everything. The game is supposed to be a sandbox of wonderful freedom, why they have to go add all these dumb restrictions for. Yuck

https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/49 this mod fixes most of these issues. Download and drop it in the modules folder in the main install directory. You can then edit the file to change how many workshops/companions you get per clan level to whatever you like. Additionally this reintroduces arena and tournament exp gain. It makes the game much less grindy in just about any aspect you can think of. It even lets you bring your entire party into hideout raids instead of few men it restricts you to normally. Every feature of this mod can be turned off.
