how to max moral?
i know having higher moral is a great benefit in a fight but it also is suppost to level up leadership and/or stewardship as well. so i'm trying ti figure out how to get high/max moral.
i 63 moral right now but i'm wondering if i can get it higher and at what point does it start leveling my skills since they are not getting xp.

base 50.
food variety 8.
personal 5.2

for food i have. 1. Grain 2.Fish. 3.Grapes 4. Olives 5.Butter 6. Cheese 7. Meat 8.Beer 9. Dates

The only thing i know i'm missing is Wine. my next question is what else am i missing and what is the max Moral bonus you can get from food?

Also i know winning fights gives moral too.

any Advice would be great.

I would love to know this too! I need to increase the Leadership skill with high morale and combat. I do trade so not as much combat. But high morale ~sounds~ easy. But clearly it isn't.

so for the record i never did figure out how to max out moral but i did figure out what it levels! :)

it level stewardship at least i believe it does. i made myself quartermaster and got the food bonus then my stewardship leveled every few days.

leadership seems to only level realy when you become a king or a vassal which is a shame.

unless the game states that you cannot reach 100 I WILL FIND A WAY!!! come hell OR COVID19
if you want to lvl up leadership, join a faction, create a 2nd party then create an army and invate your 2nd party to join you after that just walk around for 5 mins and boom lvl 25 leadership

"Recent Events" mine is currently giving me +19 moral, it was more but some time passed. I was at 99 total moral. I think it has to do with winning allot of unfair fights with like 2 to 1 odds against you. I had to fight several empire armies with those odds recently.

You need high leadership to have high moral, but the only way to auto level leadership is to have high moral.
So the only answer to this is get married to a warrior wife, and summon her as an army. and lead that army to level your leadership. You can also summon your companions to form an army without using influence, but you will pay for their army. It's not very expensive if you are financially established, but a few hundreds to a thousand denar per day can be a lot of money.

Maybe it's a recent change but technically there is 100. I've had 100 in my moral counter and 109 in the breakdown. It stayed on 100 until the moral timer took those extra 9 away again. I got there by starting a war (without army) and constantly hunted small army groups, probably 2-4 battles a day for a couple of days.

There are generally two ways to reach 100 morale:

1) Fight decently strong (talking caravan level, I think?) enemies. I can't remember how much it decays per day, but if you can keep it up, you'll reach 100.

2) Become a vassal, drag an army around to grind leadership.

Note, the leadership XP for having high party morale is pretty terrible, even at 100 morale.
