I once beat an important leader 2:1 by getting in a river bed so his horsemen all got stuck on rocks and I won like 55 renown from that.
If you can find castles to siege easily by yourself you can score about 30 off that.
big mountain bandit hideouts can also net like 5-7 renown. I'd avoid forest bandit camps though.
With a decent siege you get upwards of 10 and it start from there.
It's not that bad. I'm almost at clan rank 4 after 42 hours playing.
I just fought battles for the first 40 hours.
Now all I'm doing is trading.
Want to see how fast I can level this goofy trade skill.
That only works in very easy 1/3 mode rly, or you try to hide companions and try kill them all yourself with bow.
A couple horse archers and companions with steppe bows is all you need to farm reknown!
