You know that the M&B games aren't history, right?
OP, there's no change. It's all about breeding those heirs.
Edit: looks like there’s a already a mod
Why do people keep bringing this up? Because they like to feel represented, probably. I know I wouldn't feel terribly good if I was forced to woo the gender I'm not predisposed to or forgo romance, even if it's just a game.
Edit: Mcchicken are right, it's just don't make sence, dark age, survive, all that, it's only seem happen in peace where big city, when rich had nothing to do (since slave handle all those survive while rich do not had to do those thing, but not in medieval, where there rare big city, most common is just town to castle, anymore than that might be cause lot of problem with health and sick, and food issues.
I'm a fat computer programmer. How come I'm not represented in this game?
You're a programmer by choice, being gay isn't a choice. It's also likely you're not fat due to genetics, but yeah, I'd be all for a bodymass slider in character creation.
The imperial faction is perfectly playable.
