Training?
Is the only way to level up troops to fight looter/bandits? Cause that get's really boring after a while.

In warband you used to be able to train troops by having them follow you - which makes a lot of sense since a real army would do this (train hard, war easy)

the same kind of talent is in this too, and it has two flavors: low XP to everyone, or good XP to cheap tier 1,2, and 3 troops to get peasants up to speed basically.

good question.. in warband you could also visit the arena with your men and at least train them to tier 2 rather quickly by doing practice fights so they're not completely useless in battle

was super usefull when half our army got wiped mid game and you need semi-competent replacements without spending the next 10 hours chasing looters again for training

I tested the Medium amount of xp to 1-2-3 troops.

It awards 30xp to a single troop type.

T1 recruit needs roughly 600xp. 20 days for 1 level up of 1 troop. Perk is completly useless right now.

Should award stack xp like prophesy of pendor. You got 30 recruits so the stack is awarded 900 xp upgrading 1.5 troops on day 1 getting lower with each troop Ranking up to t2

The way to get good armies is taking prisoners of good tiers and than recruiting them in your party, this way I got an army of heavy cav without ever training one from the ground

That might work but should not be the main/best way to form an army.
